Sea Kayaking and Hiking in the Caribbean

Kayak on the crystal clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea in the San Blas Islands. This adventure allows the visitor to visit Kuna communities and learn about this unique culture while kayaking and snorkeling through this colorful archipelago. Stay in a local lodge located on one of the islands. Meals consisting of an array of local seafood (fresh fish, lobster, shell fish).

The Kuna Indigenous Tribes have keep their territory untouched by the growing tourism industry.  Here in the archipelago tourism is not fully developed providing the visitor with the opportunity to fully enjoy and experience the Caribbean coast and the Kuna culture. This unique archipelago is home to many different Kuna communities. We are welcome to visit the Comarca (territory).

This rich region of the country is also the natural habitat to a variety of wildlife such as giant river otters, dolphins, sea turtles, large reef tropical fish, rays, birds and much more. On most of our days we will enjoy paddling in the morning to take advantage of calmer seas. This allows time in the afternoon to explore the unique ecosystem around the campgrounds. We will be able to look for tropical fish, sponges, lobsters, turtles and other sea life native to the area.
