Perhaps the most famous of archipelagos,
the Galapagos provide an unmatchable wildlife experience. A fantastic and
insular world exists on these islands 600 miles west of Ecuador in the Pacific
Oceans, filled with rare land and sea birds, gigantic, lumbering Galapagos
Tortoises, Marine Iguanas basking in the sun or feeding on seaweed underwater,
and Sea Lions frolicking in the waves.

And because these animals have spent eons separated from fear by great expanses
of ocean, you can swim with the Sea Lions, host a mockingbird on your hat,
and take a close-up picture of an iguana.
Today, the Galapagos Islands are Ecuador's most-visited National Park as
well as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Though the cluster is made up of more
than 50 islands, fourteen are frequently visited. And because they've been
claimed, discovered, re-claimed, and re-discovered so many times, most of
the islands are known by multiple names.
When choosing a Galapagos cruise there is an incredible array of boats to
choose from, in varying sizes and categories of service. Itineraries vary
from ship to ship, with all ships offering eight-day itineraries. Some also
offer four- and five-day trips. Each ship visits a different set of islands,
though there is a good deal of overlap.
Tropical Nature Travel works directly with a number of boat companies to
provide a selection of the best ships in each category. Our featured ships
have private bathroom facilities, air conditioning and top-certified bilingual
guides. In addition, all ships have modern safety and communications equipment
and are SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea) certified.
Tropical Nature Travel’s team of travel specialists has developed a wide
range of itineraries that showcase the richness and diversity of both
the Galapagos Islands Ecuador's mainland. Our sales staff is among the
most knowledgeable in the industry. Whatever your interest, budget or
timetable, Tropical Nature Travel can arrange a trip especially for you.
