| Ecuador Rafting Adventure |
Ecuador is an ideal country for rafting adventures. There are high mountain ranges and many rivers dropping down from the Andes into the Amazon basin or Pacific coast. Combine this with warm tropical temperatures all year long and exotic plants and animals and this creates an exciting rafting adventure for people of all skill level and ages!
River Rafting 
We’ll depart early from Quito and head to either, the Rio Toachi or Rio
Blanco for an introduction to rafting in Ecuador. The Rio Toachi and the Rio
Blanco are located on the western slopes of the Ecuadorian Andes and run through
beautiful subtropical forest.
After safety instructions are given by our captains, we’ll start our white water adventure, passing through pristine jungle canyons and exciting rapids. We'll search for cormorants, egrets, woodpeckers, toucans, and more species including the southern river otter.
We will raft 15 to 25 kilometers of challenging whitewater (class III+)
based on physical condition or water level. This trip is a great combination of fabulous tropical landscapes as well as adrenaline-fueled rapids. We’ll also enjoy a delicious picnic on the river. Afterwards, we’ll return to Quito. (L)
