Amazon Wildlife
Coca — Gateway to the Napo Wildlife Center, the most comfortable and wildlife-packed lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Marine Wildlife
Galapagos Islands — This famed archipelago, where Charles Darwin solidified his theories of evolution and natural selection are home to some of the most amazing — and endangered — animals in the world. Located 620 miles west of mainland Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean.

Towns and Cities
Quito — Ecuador’s capital city with a beautifully restored old city, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Riobamba — The capital of the Chimborazo province and the starting point for the Sibambe train that passes through the spectacular Devil’s Nose double zigzag. Wrap up warm because the best view is from the roof of the train!

Cuenca — A UNESCO World Heritage site filled with cobblestone streets, impressive cathedrals, and excellent museums.

Guayaquil— Ecuador’s largest city and the industrial and commercial center of the country, as well as the main seaport.
Volcano
Cotopaxi — One of the highest active volcanoes in the world and Ecuador’s second highest peak. Explore the national park surrounding the volcano and climb to the Cotopaxi refuge at 15,800 feet.

Traditional Market
Otavalo — Daily colorful indigenous market based around the Plaza de Ponchos. The biggest market is on Saturdays with local handicrafts, a livestock section (just outside town) and a produce market.
