TESTIMONIALS
I just got back from Peru yesterday!
I had an amazing time and met some wonderful people.
It was definitely an experience of a lifetime!
Just wanted to thank you for all you did to make this happen for me!
Christine
All of the tour guides in Peru were fantastic. They were very professional and also very nice and friendly. I enjoyed the mix of having tour guides at times and being on our own at other times. The Manu Park Centre was fantastic. We both loved it there. Macchu Pichu was awesome. We hiked up to the Sun Gate and had a fantastic view of the whole site. The hotel in Agua Calients was superb!
I loved Ollyantaytambo – what a cute little village. The bike ride was fantastic – one of the most scenic rides I have ever done. It was a bit of a whirlwind trip but we both enjoyed it immensely. It was amazing that you were able to assemble such a great trip for us with such little notice. I will definitely keep your name on hand for future trips and for references to friends. Thanks so much for your help!
Leslie J., Toronto
Back last night from Peru, what a wonderful place to visit. We focused on Lima, Cusco, Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley, MP and the Jungle.
The jungle was very interesting and we found Posada Amazona to be well run and enjoyable. I ran a bad fever on day 2 so missed out on the entire day activities but my family carried on. Our group didn't see the river otters but people did the day before. I just loved the sounds as much as the sights.
We counted 23 macaws on day 3 at the clay lick, saw many parrakeets, monkeys, and tarranchilla. Our guide said there is more wildlife at Posada than the Refugio because the Posada has always been a protected area while the Refugio is more recently protected zone.
Elizabeth, Thanks so much for your help in pulling this together for us at the last minute. Your patient personality was comforting. It would not have worked without you.
Take good care, Bill

P.S. Well, I miss the jungle already so we will have to return.
We had a great time; it was an experience that we will always remember. InkaNatura took very good care of us. There was always an agent with us through every transfer at all times. We really liked our guide, Wilbur, who was with us for 8 days. The accommodations were top-notch (we especially liked the Sol Y Luna) and we were very well cared for on the trail.
We didn't realize that we would be the only ones on our trek until we were in Peru and that was a nice surprise. We were really glad that we did the Mollepata as well as the Inca Trail. I would have come away with a totally different perspective otherwise. The crowds were kind of hard to take after 4 days of solitude and they have turned Machu Picchu into a theme park. Although I would not want to miss seeing Machu Picchu, there are so many other ruins and trails without the crowds, that I will focus future trips on different areas now that I have been there. Thanks for all of your help. We have saved your card, as we have other areas that you serve that we want to see and you will be hearing from us in the future. Deb

Just wanted to thank you for organising our trip to Peru so well. We had a fantastic time and I was really impressed by the high standard of the guides, transfers etc. throughout the holiday. Hotels were all fine, although having stayed a couple of nights at the Casa Andina in the Colca Canyon, that was definately my favourite hotel (along with the lovely hotel in Paracas) - wish we had stayed in a few more Casa Andinas along the way. Thanks again for all your help and I may be in touch soon regarding another trip to the Amazon! Juliet G., Buenos Aires, Argentina
The trek to the Colca Canyon of Peru was wonderful. The altitude was a challenge but well worth the effort. Great views!!! All of the arrangements were perfect and the support staff outstanding as usual. Thanks again for an impeccable trip. hopefully there will be many more. Best wishes, Randy R, Grand Junction, CO
Our trip to Sandoval Lake Lodge went great! The lake was spectacular, the lodge was excellent, and everyone working there was hospitable, warm, and professional. What a great operation and a beautiful place! Thanks so much for arranging the trip for us. I don’t often visit the same place twice because I’m looking to see something new, but I believe I will go there again. My husband and I also don’t go for the luxury resorts, but having our own guide looking out for us the whole time made us feel so much more relaxed. All the guides were knowledgeable and took great care of everyone. I appreciate the mission of the lodge and usually stay in “eco-conscious” establishments when I can. I wish more people who travel would. Here’s to your continued success and we hope to work with you again. Sincerely, Angela P., Rye New York
I want to thank you very much for setting up this wonderful
trip. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Our hotels, guides, meals, and flights were all so well co-ordinated, that we agreed this is the best trip we've ever taken! Thank you again. We
are still sorting the 900+ photos we took. Diane and Kathy
The September '06 trip with Tropical Nature Travel was our second visit to the Pantanal, and it was outstanding. The itinerary was very well planned and unfolded smoothly notwithstanding a couple of unforeseen complications. Everybody was very helpful, friendly and professional, and the guides were truly first-rate. As a result we saw an abundance of wildlife, including six jaguars, in just a few days. Nature at its very best! Karl and Marie-France P., Denver, CO.
You kindly assisted us in reservations for the Napo Wildlife Center. It was a wonderful experience. The logistics, food, infrastructure and staff were just great. Regards, Barry, Fairfax, VA
What a trip, memories to last a lifetime! Everything went well and the staff at Napo couldn't have been more accommodating. Raul was our naturalist and he is a fine teacher. And the birds, oh the birds I saw. I thank you for your work in putting my trip together. Matt and I had a perfect trip. I even functioned on my own for a few days in Quito as Matt had work to attend to and had to leave. But I did just fine. I would love to go back and see more of Ecuador. Now I feel the need to learn Spanish. Again, my thanks. Robyn F.
An article in the June 2005 issue of International Travel News “Inca ruins and amazing animals on a private tour of Peru and Ecuador” prompted us to contact Elizabeth Sanders of Tropical Nature Travel. My wife and I, together with our friends, threw some crazy requirements at her but over the next few months she solved a number of scheduling problems and arranged a wonderful trip for us to Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands. It was a great way to check Machu Picchu and the Galapagos off our life list of “places to see before we die.” Lyle D. Feisel, St. Michaels, MD
The birds, animals and scenery I saw, the hospitality I received, the food I enjoyed, and all other things I experienced during the trip were incredible. I am hoping to go back there in the future and will definitely recommend my friends to go on any of Tropical Nature's trips! T.I. from Virginia
Thank you ... Thank you ... Sandoval Lodge was wonderful. Thanks for all your help and it was so organized.. It was great! You never really know what you are getting on line. It was a highlight of our trip. We loved the lodge and all the activities and Oscar our guide ... He was great fun and had the best eye for spotting animals and a great scope for all of us to use. Thanks again for your help. Tessa B.
Just a few lines to say that we really enjoyed the Peru trip. All went smoothly and it was very exciting indeed. The guides were all excellent — Jose for Cusco and Sacred Valley, Percy for the Manu trip and Ofelia for Lima city. The only real disappointment was the international flight on Iberia - easily the worst long haul carrier that I have ever traveled with!! Charles W., England
What a fabulous trip we had. I can't rave enough about it. We had lots of
photo ops with the macaws, both hyacinths and green wings. We even saw the
blue and golds flying overhead. The wolf showed up in camp every night
(once or twice brought his [her?] mate), even came to our good-bye party
and the monkeys were great fun. Both camps are run with typical Brazilian
good humor and are fun to stay in. Ann F., Pittsburgh
Our Manu Wildlife Center guide was truly outstanding — the best we have ever had. Monika had the rare combination of an extensive knowledge of the ecobiolology of the jungle and sensitive and polished people/ management skills. We really enjoyed her personality and teaching. We also were very fortunate in Manu to travel with a couple that we really enjoyed. Anne M., Minneapolis
The trip to Napo Wildlife Center was so thrilling. It is just remarkable what has been accomplished in such a short time. The accommodations and food were great. The people we saw regularly and got to know were exceptional: Fausto, Monica, Miguel, and Mariano. Can't say enough good things about them and the way they guided us through the NWC. We loved exploring in the dugout canoes and had some fabulous hikes. The ponchos and boots that were provided the guests were very much appreciated given the rain and mud
that we encountered! We were kept very busy and were delighted to see so many birds and animals. It was just a great trip. We would definitely go again and stay Monday-Friday to extend the visit. Diane C., Seattle
Many thanks for the trip — it was another vacation of a lifetime and Ecuador is on our "gotta go back" list. Napo was amazing — John and I loved the swamp the best. Paddling silently through those tiny tributaries was truly spellbinding. I thought my son was going to sleep in his muddy boots — he absolutely loved it. The folks at Napo Wildlife Center deserve a lot of credit — the place is wonderful, the food was fantastic (I found a cookbook at an airport giftshop), the jungle as pristine as it gets. And then of course, there's the wildlife! Denise M., New York
The trip itself was excellent from beginning to end. I especially liked the Amazonia Lodge and all the boat rides, but it's hard to choose favorites since everything was so good. Amy's favorite spot was the Manu Wildlife Center. I could spend all day listing good things about the trip. Kurt A., Pasadena
We had a wonderful trip to the Amazon and Iguazu - full of pleasant surprises and
excitements through and through to our delight! We specifically enjoyed the hospitality of the people everywhere. My husband and I are wishing to go back to the Amazon in the near future. We just love our South American experience and the Amazon is very special. The services of the different travel agents you channeled us with were all excellent, and Liz, I would not miss to commend on the wonderful service you rendered us. Igna Jacobe, Montreal
