COSTA RICA:
Tree Tops Tour
9 day/8 night itinerary

After your wedding, the two of you may want to spend some time just relaxing together.  With its unspoiled beaches, scenic mountains, spectacular waterfalls, National Parks and exotic wildlife, Costa Rica makes a wonderful romantic honeymoon trip. Adventures in nature and relaxing beach time are part of the Tree Tops Tour of Costa Rica.
g Begin by exploring an active volcano, and then head to the magical Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve for wildlife, hiking and tree-top adventures. You can glide from tree to tree via a cable pulley system. For the less adventurous of spirit, the canopy can be explored along the Sky Walk, a series of suspension bridges among the tree tops. The town of Monteverde is filled with interesting things to do. Artisans galleries show off photography, painting and sculpture. You’ll also stay in the beach town of Tamarindo for surf, sand and lots of sun. In fact, the sun shines almost every day of the year here! It's the perfect place for beach time, as well as activities like sailing. You can also go turtle-watching and watch Leatherback turtles as they lay eggs. With all these activities, plus perfect weather and beautiful sunsets, Tamarindo is a great place to relax and enjoy your new life together.

ECUADOR: Napo Wildlife Center
5 day/4 night itinerary k   4 day/3 night itinerary k

If you are looking for a more active honeymoon, you two will have a wonderful time exploring Napo Wildlife Lodge in Ecuador. Lodging at Napo Wildlife Center has been designed to offer maximum privacy and comfort. From your private front porch, you’ll be greeted with lake and forest views of the Amazon forest. You can select from 10 individual large luxury cabanas each with king size beds, private bathrooms, on demand hot water and 24 hours electricity provided by solar panels.  The buildings are designed with native architecture but have modern comforts. You will have cool shaded terraces with inviting hammocks. While resting, you may see a group of giant otters or capybaras or experience the graceful flights of blue and yellow macaws over the lodge area. The bar provides ice-cold beer, wine, soft drinks and other liquor selections. The calls of red howler monkeys will provide a soundtrack!

The dock area is a nice spot to relax in the tropical sun or you can go for a dip into the lake. Without fear, you can jump off the dock and cool off.  Or, if you are hesitant about jumping in, guides will jump in first and eliminate your doubts. Meals are carefully prepared to delight a variety of tastes. Meals might include traditional Ecuadorian dishes and special meal requirements can be met.

ECUADOR: Galapagos Islands- 8 day/7 night itinerary
A honeymoon cruise in the Galapagos Islands offers a warm Pacific Island climate, exotic wildlife and beautiful landscapes. In the Galapagos Islands you can relax, have fun, and enjoy the beginning of your lifelong romance in one of the world's most unique locations. SEALCruising is also considered one of the best honeymoon values, as it is almost all-inclusive. Your fare includes meals, your cabin, onboard activities, parties and entertainment.
The Galapagos Islands are filled with rare land and sea birds, gigantic, lumbering Galapagos Tortoises, Marine Iguanas basking in the sun or feeding on seaweed underwater, and Sea Lions frolicking in the waves. You can comeface to face with a wide variety of other wildlife—including more than 50 animal species found nowhere else in the world. The islands' biological diversity played an important role in shaping Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.

When choosing a Galapagos cruise there is an incredible array of boats to choose from, in varying sizes and categories of service. Itineraries vary from ship to ship, with all ships offering eight-day itineraries. Some also offer four- and five-day trips. Each ship visits a different set of islands, though there is a good deal of overlap.
Tropical Nature Travel works directly with a number of boat companies to provide a selection of the best ships in each category. Our featured ships have private bathroom facilities, air conditioning and top-certified bilingual guides.

PERU: The Land of the Incas- 8 days/7 night itinerary
See one of the wonders of South America, Machu Picchu, explore the former Incan capital of Cusco with its Incan and Spanish colonial history, and visit the Urubamba Valley, known as the Sacred Valley to the Incas. Discover the legacy of the Incas as you soak up the vibrant culture of the Andes. You’ll stay in the former capital of the mighty Inca Empire, Cusco. This is now a lively colorful city with beautiful colonial churches as well as extensive Inca ruins both within the city and in the surrounding countryside. You'll also visit the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, whose giant boulders are placed to resemble a jaguar with an open mouth. Shop the colorful market in Pisac, famous for multi-colored beads or browse the displays of jewelry, sweaters, and other local crafts.

No trip to Peru would be complete with out a visit to the mountaintop citadel of Machu Picchu. Explore the wonders of Machu Picchu, a majestic citadel with unbelievable vistas and ancient mysteries. Forgotten for centuries by the outside world, although not by locals, it was brought back to international attention by an archaeologist who discovered it in 1911. If you like, you can hike up to the top of Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu's close neighbor, for an exhilarating view of the ruins complex below. In the late afternoon return to the town of Aguas Calientes, in the valley below Machu Picchu on the Urubamba River, to spend the night.
