Visit Brazil's beautiful, unspoiled paradise of Ilha Grande! With over 100
white sand beaches, you can escape the hustle and bustle of Rio for some
relaxation. Swim in crystal green waters, relax on jungle-fringed beaches,
and enjoy the palm-studded beachfront in the village of Abraão.
We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Rio (between 10.30AM and 12.00AM) and take the afternoon ferry to Ilha Grande, arrival around 5:00 PM. This lovely trip through the bay ends at the village of Abraão, where we’ll take a 10-minute stroll to a local guest house, luggage on trolleys. You can spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the peaceful beachfront town where motor vehicles are banned.
In the morning, we'll again take a boat trip to Mangues, and then hike for
about an hour to Lopes Mendes beach, widely recognized as the most beautiful
beach in Brazil. We'll have plenty of tropical fruit on board. You can spend the day swimming,
relaxing and exploring the beach. Then, it's back to the boat for the
return trip to Abraão. B
In the morning at 10:00am, we'll return by ferry through Ilha Grande's beautiful bay
and head back to Rio
with arrival around 4:00 (or to Paraty-arrival around 3:00). B
